Allaire State Park, Howell, NJ

Run or walk 5k or 5-miles through haunted hayride, the historic deserted village of Howell Works, and most of it run on the course of the now discontinued Allaire 5k Run. Party afterwards at McCanns pub at the Spring Meadow Golf Course. T-shirts and prizes. Ceramic beer steins to first 3 overall and first 3 in 5-year age groups

        Course description

 First​ mile is on dirt roads, then run over woodland paths and trails. Last mile has a few very short upgrades. 5k/5-mile split is at the 1 mile mark.
