Join us for our first annual B3FEST 5K COLOR RUN to benefit LAUREN'S LIGHT, a 501c3 organization founded in honor of Lauren Hewski, a 2023 graduate of Saint John Vianney and Brookdale Community College.  https://laurens-light.org/  LAUREN'S LIGHT is committed to building a future where girls learn, live, and compete in a pro-girl world.  A world where they can confidently embrace their power, nurture their authenticity, and celebrate their success.  A world where they LEAVE NO DOUBT about who they are and what they can accomplish.  All of the proceeds from this race support events, activities and programs that help young women in grades 6-12 discover and develop the qualities they need to succeed.  This event is rain or shine, as part of our 3-day B3FEST. https://laurens-light.org/b3fest

Race Details:

• Saturday, June 22, 2024, rain or shine.
• Early Bird Discount: $35 sign up before 5/27/24. $40 sign up after 5/27/24.
• 5K start time is 9:00am.  
• Race start and finish will be held at Saint Benedict School: 165 Bethany Rd, Holmdel NJ.  
• Runners and walkers welcome, but only runners will be timed.
• The course is a 5K color run that will span across the Saint Benedict School and Saint John Vianney HS campuses.  The course has a cross country feel.  You will be racing on grass, the track and asphalt with minimal elevation changes.  You will complete the same loop twice.  Be prepared to run in the sun and get covered with color.

Important Race Packet Information:

• EARLY PICK-UP (PREFERRED): Race packets can be picked up on Friday, June 21 between 6-9pm at the B3FEST BACKYARD BBQ held at Veteran's Memorial Park on Ocean Boulevard in Keyport, NJ.  
• "DAY OF" PICK-UP: Race Packets can also be picked up on site, on race day beginning at 7:30am. We strongly encourage you to pick up packets the night before or arrive early on race day.
• "DAY OF" BIBS: Day of registration bib pick-ups begin at 7:30am at the race site.  

An awards ceremony will be held at approximately 10:30am.  Medals will be awarded to:

• Overall Male & Overall Female 
• 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in the following categories:
  • 19 and Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and Over.

Those registering BEFORE June 5, 2024 will receive a T-shirt and swag bag.  Those registering AFTER June 5, 2024 are not guaranteed a T-shirt or swag bag.
